Can i just say
how much i love the tutoring my korean kiddos? After lesson, the entire Kim and Byun clan (plus me) ambled down to jurong point for another round of crystal jade-ing. So get this, for 8 people (4 adults, one 12 yr old and 3 children), we ordered 5 bowls of la-mian and 10 baskets of xiao long baos. Thats 50 pieces of pure joy falling down our throats. Eating with them is fun because they can and will eat. They dont hold back. Hungry? Stomach first. No need to nitpick about the price. Worry about that (or not at all) later. Its just like when i was in BD or out with my friends, sometimes one would order double portions and the other would follow suit. And eating is only fun when you know the other party is hungry too. Well thats how i find it lah. Its very wet-blankety to me when one person eats and the other refuses and just watches. Afterall, happiness is only real when shared. Im so glad i got to do it with them. bye

Shelley Bridge I went down to Shelley Bridge with Christina and Caroline last Sunday. Did my own little quiet time there. Manage to finish the whole book of Ezra within an hour. Things have been very political lately. As the Democratic National Convention takes place in Denver, it seems everyone and their mother have something to say and an opinion about something and the fashion world is no exception. The blogosphere has been going bonkers today over a comment Project Runway's Tim Gunn made about the possible first ladies-to-be. "There is no contest!! I mean, Michelle really epitomizes American style, and she's not afraid to show her shape, she's not afraid to show her sexiness without being the least bit inappropriate," he said. "She's just an alluring woman. And Cindy with her suits and she's all buttoned up, she's just soooo — she just looks like she's duct-taped! There is just something about her, and in a way it's a metaphor about who she is!" Speaking in the name of chic women everywhere, I have to say we agree with Tim.
